Alyssa Coolen is an American actress who was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 23, 1995. She is best known for her roles in High Education (Jules), My Natural Life (Brittany Chambers), Unconscious (Jackie Bellatore), and Souls (Nicole Wallace). She developed an interest in acting after having to take an acting master class for a communications course. Her curiosity took her to an audition for a local web series (her first audition) and landed her the part of Brittany Chambers in My Natural Life - The Series. After filming wrapped, she began her next project, a low-budget independent film, Recluse, in which she played the character Amanda Afshar. While filming Recluse, she was offered a role in the short film "The Undying Me" in which she played the role of Hailey. Some of her other short films include Blank Canvas, Sunnies, and Angel (where she played the film's lead). She also played the part of Susan McCormick in the web series The Observers as well as played the supporting role of Nicole Wallace in the low-budget independent film Souls. Following these, Alyssa accepted roles in many student, short, and feature length projects. Alyssa continued her training through the school year by taking a fundamentals of acting course at her university. Some of her other interests include cheerleading, dancing, and learning new languages.
