Andy Skelton

Andy Skelton was born in Bloomington, Indiana and was raised in San Antonio, Texas. He attended and played football at Converse Judson High School for the legendary coach D.W. Rutledge who would later hire him as an assistant football coach. Andy was the starting tight end in the 1988 Texas 5A State Championship game against Dallas Carter which eventually would inspire the movies "Friday Night Lights" and "Carter High". He attended Angelo State and the University of Texas-San Antonio for his undergraduate degree in Biology and Texas A&M-Kingsville for his Masters in Educational Administration. He now is a high school football coach in San Antonio, Texas.
