Ariel Glenn

Ariel Glenn is an actress based in NYC. She is originally from East Aurora, NY. She knew she wanted to be an actress when she saw the 1949 version of Little Women starring June Allyson. She began her career in the theatre not long after in Cindy Rella and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfelles where she portrayed the Evil Queen and a Dwarfelle, respectively. She attended the Stratford Shakespeare School in ON, Canada as a teenager and studied under the wonderful actors there for two summers. During high school, Ariel appeared in the local community theater production of 110 In the Shade and the East Aurora High School drama club production of The Phantom Tollbooth. She also took great joy in the school musicals: Peter Pan, 42nd Street, Anything Goes and Bye Bye Birdie. When it was time for college, Ariel attended the State University of New York at Fredonia and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting and an English Minor. She was a member of the school choir and co-created a new club on campus called Interactive Theater Society, which hosted Halloween and Holiday experiences. After graduating, Ariel became a board member of WARPD Productions in Buffalo, NY. She selected and performed in several productions, many of which donated the proceeds to various charities. After to moving to CT, Ariel joined the Artistic Committee of the historical Bradley Playhouse and helped select and acted in many plays there. She began a long relationship with Butterfleye Films, playing the main villain, Kyan, in their web series, The Realm. She has also appeared in film productions with Butterfleye Films, rounding out the world in which the series takes place. In 2016, Ariel was accepted into the Shakespeare Intensive at the Stella Adler Studio, which lead to her enrollment in the professional conservatory. There she studied with highly sought after teachers including James Tripp, Andrew Wade, Ron Burrus, Todd Thaler, Elizabeth Shepherd, Bill Bowers, CK Jones, Joe Goscinski, Carine Montbertrand and many others.
