Cate Dening

Cate Dening is an Australian actress. She is known for playing the lead role of Alex in the 2019 short film Reverie and the role of Annabelle in the new web series Nightingale Lonely Melodies. Cate was born in Brisbane, Australia to an English mother and Australian father and is a dual British Australian citizen. In 2019 and 2018 Cate was a state finalist at the Queensland Youth Shakespeare Festival and in the few short years she has been in the industry, has worked in short films, student film projects, featured in the music video Work It Out by the artist Samuel Stone and over the last 4 years has performed extensively in theatre productions including Shakespeare, Musical Theatre, Sketch Comedy and Cabaret. Cate has the ability to portray comedic roles while just as easily fleshing out roles that require complex emotions. Cate hones her performing skills with weekly lessons in drama, singing (classically trained soprano voice) and dance, combined with attending workshops presented by some of the top names in the Australian industry.
