Charlie Hopkins

Charlie majored in Theatre Performance at the University of Wollongong and, upon graduating, he joined the Theatre in Education company Brainstorm Productions, Australia's leading and most respected T.I.E. practitioners. He went on to studied at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in London and after returning to Australia he appeared as a series regular on "The Cooks", before joining 'Home and Away' as Dr Derek Young, a role he was to continue until December of 2011 when moved to Los Angeles. During this time he also appeared on HBO's The Pacific as a 1st Lieutenant and played a lead role as Barry Bradman in the post apocalyptic horror/comedy film 'Dead Down Under', which is in post production and due for release late 2016. Since moving to LA he has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and is in the upcoming Westworld series on HBO. He has furthered his studies with Lesly Kahn, UCB and is Ivana Chubbuck.
