Chelah Horsdal

Chelah's currently shooting season 4 of The Man In The High Castle, for which she won the Leo award, and recently wrapped two films, I'm Not A Bad Person alongside Tim Guinee and Spontaneous with Katherine Langford and Charlie Plummer. She's had a packed few years with two seasons of DirectTV's You, Me, Her, guest stars on The Good Doctor, Bletchley Circle; San Fran, Rogue, Girlfriend's Guide To Divorce, the critically acclaimed When We Rise, the film This Is Your Death, directed by Giancarlo Esposito and 4 seasons on AMC's Hell On Wheels (multiple Leo & UBCP Award nominations). Additional recent works include a series regular role on season 1 of Hallmark Channel's When Calls The Heart (Leo nominated), 6 episodes of A&E's The Returned, guest stars on Falling Skies, Proof, UnReal, Cedar Cove and an award winning lead on the feature Candiland. The past few years have also included a lead on the independent feature Patterson's Wager (Leo nominated & multiple festival wins for Best Actress), opposite Fred Ewanuick, the series lead on the CBC pilot Wishing Well (UBCP Best Actress nomination), the feature If I Stay, guest starring turns on Arctic Air (Leo nomination), Package Deal, The Selection, Emily Owens MD, Supernatural, The Killing, Motive, the pilots I Am Victor for NBC and Rita for Bravo. Career highlights include working side by side with Rufus Sewell for the last three years, Sir Ben Kingsley on Elegy, John Lithgow & James Franco on Rise Of The Apes, Kris Kristofferson in Midnight Rider & Mary McDonnell while recurring on Battlestar Galactica. Guest stars & recurring roles are too numerous to list, but suffice it to say, Chelah is one of the busiest actors working today. With a talent working under the lights and in front of the lens, Chelah continues to strive forward to the next challenge. Under the banner of her company Phoebe Films, she is currently producing a documentary about her father, developing both a short and feature that she's penned, and continues to contribute whatever she is able to other budding filmmakers. Chelah also places great importance in mentoring younger actresses to empower them moving forward in a sometimes difficult industry and works passionately to raise both money and awareness for animal welfare.
