Scholarship RADA. Won Clifford Bax Prize, National Service in Libya and played Oedipus at the roman theatre at Sabratha Repertory at Northampton, Hornchurch, Bromley and Windsor Royal Shakespeare Company at the Aldwich and Stratford-on-Avon. Joined Tony Church and Robin Phillips to open the new Northcott Theatre in Exeter. Played Narrator in Under Milk Wood at the Minack Theatre Cornwall and Cardiff. 4 years as Sgt Ken Ridgeway in Hunters Walk for ATV. Met and married the writer Pam Valentine (You're only young twice YTV) Played Stiva in Anna Karennina for BBC with Eric Porter and became lifelong friends through passion for sailing. Joined Derek Nimmo's British Airways Theatre and toured the world with Bedroom Farce and the two handed Plaza Suite with Marcia Warren. Played several seasons at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre under John David.
