Denis Kiely

Denis has been acting since 2008 as a children's entertainer and branched into stage and film acting in 2015. Denis has starred as the comical villain in two features, 'Macra Girl', 2016 and 'Inlaws & Outlaws', 2018. He starred as George in the Inkwell Theatre's production of Marc Camoletti's 'Don't Dress for Dinner' in 2016. He played Aidan, the reluctant groom in his own hit comedy stage production, 'Whiskey for the Brides' at Cork Arts Theatre, May 2018. Denis wrote, produced, directed and starred in 'Two Can Play That Game', a short film about a shopkeeper plagued by a shoplifting epidemic. Other works include the following short films: Dawn Raid, 2015 ScarfFace, 2016 Fir Marú agus Grá, TG4 Television, 2016 The Opposite, 2017 Zoe, 2017 Headlock, 2017 Dystocia, 2017 Memories, 2018 Passing, 2018 Denis also writes scripts and his short film 'Two Can Play That Game' is listed as a finalist in the Beara Film Fest, 2018. Denis has submitted scripts to BBC Writers Room and many other production companies.
