Emilee Barber is an American actress. Emilee began acting at age 4 in a pre-school theatre class. At age 9 she signed with the McCarty Talent Agency in Salt Lake City, Utah. Emilee's first featured role, "the Love Interest", was for a film made for The Mickey Mouse Club on the Disney Chanel titled "My Life as a Babysitter" directed by Matt Cassella. Emilee acted in several leading roles in different stage productions. Emilee was accepted into the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (NYC) but turned it down in order to study Shakespeare in the Shakespeare Summer School 1999 at the University of Cambridge, UK. While studying in this program she had the opportunity to act on the stage at the Globe Theatre in London. Emilee returned to the University of Cambridge in 2001 to take part in their International Summer school, focus in Shakespeare. In 2006 Emilee graduated from the University of Utah with a BA in Film. Emilee acted in supporting and leading roles with several talented actors some of whom are: Elisabeth Moss, Jake Gyllenhaal, Adam Hann-Byrd, Michael Shannon, River Phoenix, Clea DuVall, and Odin Peter-Rabbof in several challenging film projects through the Sundance Filmmakers Lab. Emilee has worked with several talented directors in different exciting film projects some of which are: she played "Marie" in A Kiss Remembered, directed by Darrin Fletcher, which competed in the Sundance Film Festival in 2002. Emilee played "Crystal" in Twice Today, directed by Joshua Tai Taeoalii, which competed in the Angel Citi Film Festival in 2001. She acted in They That Are Wise, directed by Russell Holt. She played "Mary, sister of Martha" in The Testaments of One Fold and One Shepherd, directed by Kieth Merrill. She played "Dariah" in Promised Land episode 'Crushed' #2.4, directed by Gene Reynolds for CBS.
