Gabriela Castillo

Gabriela Castillo was born in Havana, Cuba, where she studied piano at the music conservatory, Alejandro García Caturla. In 1997 her father was granted the opportunity to travel to the United States with his family through the US-Cuba visa lottery, immigrating in 1998 to the city of Louisville, KY, where Gabriela continued to study piano with private teachers and later at the Youth Performing Arts School. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Northern Kentucky University and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the Professional Actor Training Program at the University of South Carolina.
