Genny Sermonia

Canadian-Filipino Genny Sermonia was born Genevieve Grace Sermonia in Scarborough and raised in Mississauga, Ontario, to Maria Lita & Gene Sermonia. Genny started dancing at the age of 4 along side her two older brothers, Julius and Jason. They trained and competed all over North America winning awards, scholarships, and dance titles. Together they began to audition for many projects, companies, live shows, and also performed in community theatre. She admired the success of her brothers, however, she decided to follow her own path and enrolled in Sheridan College's prestigious Music Theatre Performance program in September 2005. It was there where Genny immersed herself in her craft and became disciplined in all types of performance genres, focusing on acting, singing, and dancing.
