Hope Brown

Hope Brown, was born in San Diego, California, but his boyhood years were spent scaling coconut trees and running barefoot on the reefs in the Fiji Islands. Attending Chinese primary school Hope's friends were a rich mix of islanders, Asians and Europeans. After eight years playing Robinson Crusoe, he and his family moved back to the United States and settled in Arizona, where he substituted fishing for prawns with walkabouts across the Sonoran desert. In his mid 20's after a brief stint in the acting scene in Chicago,he arrived on the lush green shores of Ireland and immediately found work in a touring theater company. Falling under the spell of a couple o' pints of Guinness and a sing-song he made Dublin his home for 16 years. His acting training began at the Focus Theatre where he got his arse handed to him under the expert tutelage of the great and highly sought-after acting teacher the late Deirdre O'Connell of the Lee Strasberg Institute...
