Israel Acevedo

Israel Acevedo, is an Latino/American actor. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he attended New Jersey City University performing arts school studying singing/acting. He fell in love with performing on stage and pursued a career in acting. In 1999 he put acting aside and began to work in municipal government where he received extensive training in investigations, unarmed defensive tactics, police and governmental functions and tactical operations. Always wanting to pursue his passion, in 2018 he would eventually return back to acting. Having experienced real life dramatic events, Israel can take the emotions and energy from those events and apply them into the characters he plays. He is taking additional acting courses instructed by Actor/Producer Joshua Nelson to further his career in film and television. He recently was cast by Acclaim Films for the role of Deputy Chris Ramos which is set to start filming in June of 2020. In 2018, he played Alfonso Molina in One More Thing, and a Correctional Officer in Stronger Than Pretty starring Kate Amundsen and Anthony Ficco.
