James Schrader

James Schrader was born in Miami Florida in February of 1982. He grew up in Islamorada. (The Florida Keys) His Father taught him to scuba dive by age 6, sail by age 8, and land and airplane by age 10. He performed stand-up comedy for the first time in 6th grade to 150 of his fellow students and teachers. Throughout middle school and high school James was involved with his local community theater. At Coral Shores High School James lettered in Football, Soccer, Baseball, Tennis and Cheerleading. During his senior year he became known as Thunder Boy on the south Florida country music station Thunder Country 100.3. In 2001 he competed on the Small Coed Cheerleading Squad for the University of Central Florida and placed 2nd in the nation for Division-1A schools. During his college years he lived and worked with Director/Screenwriter Steven Shea on a number of short films and feature projects. After college James was in the Underground Utility Industry for 9 years in the Tampa area. In 2011 he started studying Improv at the American Stage Theater in St. Petersburg, FL. In 2012 James traveled to Chicago to study at the iO Improv School then on to San Diego to pursue comedy. Things are going well.
