Jennifer Roy

Jennifer Roy was born in Worcester, MA in 1976 and performed in community theatre productions throughout her childhood. At Clark University she studied Opera under Maria Ferrante and Theatre under Raymond Munro. From 2002-2004 Jennifer lived in NYC and auditioned for various musicals and plays and is most proud of the band she fronted, The Quiet. She also lead a project called "Private Saints" with students from the Manhattan School of Music. Jennifer was thrilled to open for the band OURS on various occasions. In NYC, Jennifer volunteered for Road Recovery and one night burst out into a rendition of Xanadu with her best friend Tiffanie in front of Clive Davis. She was not "discovered" that night. While in NYC Jennifer was assistant to Sheldon Schultz, former manager of James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt at Trident Media. Jennifer spent a decade as a broadcast journalist in MA and taught theatre and music classes.
