During his second year of high school, he worked his first film job as an extra on the television series, "The Wannabes". He was discovered at 'Actor Fest' by Olga Denysenko of Productions Plus in the Summer of 2012. Two months later, Olga and casting director, Dayna Polehanki, announced that Jimmy had been booked for 4 weeks as a featured extra in Warner Bros' "Into the Storm". In 2013, the tax incentives left Detroit, and a large portion of the local industry went to Atlanta. Jimmy Groce graduated with a BFA in Acting from Western Michigan University in 2015. Since his work in 2012, he has gone on to play several leading roles in film, commercial, theatrical, and voice over projects.
