Joanna M. Lewis

Joanna Lewis (born Joanna Ellison) a native of Neptune, New Jersey is an African American and Panamanian actress known for 6 Hearts 1 Beat (2013) and House of Cards (2014). Joanna has always loved the arts and began performing at an early age. She was especially drawn to singing, modeling, dancing and acting from the time she could walk and talk. She went from starring in elementary school plays, middle school talent competitions and fashion shows, to singing in the classroom in high school at the request of her teacher and classmates. Joanna, a military brat, landed acting roles in musical plays on military installations and sung on the praise and worship team in church. Joanna has two siblings, an older brother George Ellison Jr., and younger sister Danita Foulks. She has two daughters Vashti and Valen from a previous marriage. Spouse: Married to Andrew Lewis Jr.
