Jon De Leon

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, jon de Leon grew up in the inner-city neigbourhood of St. Jamestown, a densely populated multicultural area of Toronto. The son of a political activist, jon spent much of his youth attending Peace rallies, protests, and political rallies in opposition to the Marcos Dictatorship of the Philippines. As well, he witnessed the formation of the community theatre organziation CBCW (Carlos Bulosan Cultural Workshop) co-founded by his father. It was this first exposure to theatre that led to his passion for the arts and the pursuit of a career as a theatre performer and practitioner.
