Kate Armstrong Ross is an actress and writer born in Los Angeles, now based in New York City. She graduated from Kenyon College with a BA in Dramatic Arts, where she was awarded the Joanne Woodward Award for 'Best Actress' as a sophomore. She spent the following semester studying at the British American Drama Academy in London. Her NYC theater credits include: Ensemble Studio Theatre, SoHo Repertory, Labyrinth Theatre Company, Incubator Arts Project, Dixon Place, Ugly Rhino, New Ohio, WiredArtsFest, Dell'Arte Opera and the People's Improv Theater. She is an original member of the Calliope Theatre Company, with whom she devised two new plays. In NYC she embraced long-form improvisation and comedy, generating web sketches with the comedy team 'Thanks For Coming,' and touring the North East with the parody production 'Point Break: LIVE!' She also appears in the New York city based web series 'Rack & Ruin' and 'Bar Tools.' Her film work includes principal roles in the independent film 'A Natural Disaster,' the upcoming film 'Trew Calling,' and the short film 'Keep the Gaslight Burning' (directed by Dave and Lou Elsey and starring Markie Post and Rick Baker).
