Katherine McKalip

After majoring in Music and Drama in college in the '60s, she later did almost 10 seasons of theatrical acting/training at Western Stage, building up to leads, among them being Frau Gabor in Spring's Awakening, and M'Lynn in Steel Magnolias. Now in Southern California, she's doing TV (TLC, Discovery, National Geographic), movies (1 Chance 2 Dance was picked up by Mar Vista, and Cockroaches was chosen by Sf for the festival circuit in Scandinavia), more stage work (International City Theater, Long Beach Rep, Laguna Playhouse YT, Hunger Artist, Fullerton Civic Light Opera, and commercials and print work, while continuing her training (South Coast Repertory, Carolyne Barry, Frederick Ponzlov,)
