Kathy Rose Center

Kathy Rose Center didn't plan to become an actor, although she did harbor dreams of becoming an astronaut, and did in fact earn a degree in Aerospace Engineering & Engineering Mechanics, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Texas at Austin in 1972. She worked 30 years for IBM in Austin, as a new product and software developer, then took an early retirement with the intention of becoming a writer and visual artist. Fate, however, intervened in the form of a class on Playing Shakespeare, and much to her surprise, she discovered a perfect outlet for her creative talents and energy.
