Kevin Menkhorst was born in Haarlem, Netherlands, to Odile (Weisscher), and Charles Menkhorst. He has one brother, Jordi Menkhorst, and one sister Quinty Menkhorst. He is Dutch, and has German ancestry (on his mothers side).
