Lorrie Chilcoat

ACTRESS

Lorrie was born in Ada, OK January 16, 1961 to JC Carroll, a general contractor and Jera Carroll, a homemaker. Lorrie is the oldest of five daughters. After graduating from high school, she went to college and earned a BA in Television News Broadcasting, though never entered that career field. Instead, she has been in medical sales for 25 plus years. On a Saturday in August of 2009, Lorrie and her husband became empty nesters as their youngest son went off to college. The following Tuesday, Lorrie was laid off from a medical sales position and on Thursday her husband's job took him out of state for a month. In the course of less than a week, her whole world changed. So, she bought a Cannondale road bicycle and also signed up for acting classes. Since then, she has ridden across Oklahoma from south to north twice as she camped out along the way, and she's ridden in the Wichita Falls, Tx 100 mile bike ride called Hotter n Hell. Her first acting class was a How To Audition class and she continues to take acting courses and workshops and is SAG eligible. She's known for her role as the Laughing Nurse in comedian Tig Notaro's series pilot One Mississippi, as well as, the role of Nurse Lydia in the true story film called Gosnell. She's booked roles in The Paperboy film starring Matthew McConaughey, Nicole Kidman, John Cusack, Zac Efron, and singer Macy Gray, as well as a role in Pitch Perfect 2, but neither roles made the editor's cut. Lorie enjoys playing the character roles and comedy comes easily for her, though she finds the gritty roles captivating. She is repped by Linda McAlister Talent and Trinity Talent Agency
