Marc-André Casavant

Marc-André is a land-clearing artist, fascinated by the visual arts, who loves to leave his comfort zone. A graduate of the Lassalle Conservatory of Performing Arts, he continues his training by participating in workshops here, but also abroad. Under the androgynous features of Discosalope, he performed solo in Berlin, Brooklyn and New York. On television, we saw him, among others, in 19-2, Patrice Lemieux 24/7 and Tout sur moi. He approaches the work of the actor in the manner of a researcher and feeds on the other disciplines to give life to his characters, which remains his primary passion. Marc-André also practices performance, contemporary dance, directing and writing poetry. He will resume his role of Creature in the theatrical performance CRU which will be presented from May 9 to 26.
