Marili Kateri

Bronx born but DMV native Marili K. Mejias is an actress, dancer and model. She is known for her role as the Mother of Sultan Al-Kamil in Alexander Kronemers "The Sultan and The Saint" (2016), Rinelis Alvarez in "Riverment" (2018), Marcia in "Bummer" (2018) and Sophia Gonzales in "Harmony" (late 2019). Marili's commercial and print work include both national and regional ad campaigns, PSA's and several web new media projects. She has numerous industrial and indie films to her credit as well as principal reenactments in America's Most Wanted and Fatal Attractions' "Secret Snakes" on the Animal Planet network. In theater Marili has performed with the Baltimore Centerstage theater in both short and full length plays. She has also performed at the main stage for the DC capitol fringe fest in the 5 star rated world premier play of "Passing - a stage play" - an adaptation of Nella Larson's acclaimed book of the same name. She is the recipient of two Best Actress Awards for her role in "Bummer". Marili also goes by the name Marili Kateri.
