MsTrina Musique

Ms. Trina is an extraordinary songstress/actress whose voice is a "Force To Be Reckoned With". Her melodic sound resembles great singers such as, Chaka Khan, Lalah Halfaway, Teena Marie, and Whitney Houston just to name a few. Her musical talent started in her junior high school and high school years where she mastered playing 1st trumpet and writing music in her school bands. Ms. Trina had the opportunity to meet Winston Marsalis at a musical mentoring session at Temple University during a high school event where she was given musical tips from this influential jazz composer. She danced for several local rap groups and even was an opening act for shows at the Mann Music Center located in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating high school, Ms. Trina attended Settlement Music School where she was taught classical vocal theory and breathing techniques which established her alto and soprano vocal ranges. Respectfully, Ms. Trina is a songwriter, singer and independent recording artist who is a member of ASCAP and has sang independently as well as with The Solution Band and The Marcell Bellinger Quintet whose bands play within the tri-state area.
