Nathan L. Henderson

A small town Texas boy with a personal goal and motto of "Embrace Your Authentic You," Nathan L Henderson has been in love with acting since childhood. After High School he took time off from acting for basic training in the US Army Reserve, with the plan of returning to a theatre education while serving in the Reserves. A Mobilization to Active Duty on September 11, 2001 jump started Nathan's 9years of Active military service. Over the years through many military assignments, he managed to find a way to perform in the arts. From entertaining coworkers, to skits for deploying troupes, to comedy showcases, Nathan found his way back to the arts in whatever way he could. Once settled in one location for an extended time, he eventually became a Member of the Board of Directors and a Lead Actor at Pulaski Fine Arts Association in St. Robert, MO. In 2008, Nathan founded, "The Spicy Players," a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre Troupe (now in their 8th season), and after 6 years on the board at PFAA, Nathan resigned and joined the Skinny Improv Comedy Theatre of Springfield, MO continuing with PFAA as an Actor. In 2010, Nathan began teaching Theatre Arts for home school organizations with MirrorLamp Productions, an arts education and entertainment company he founded in effort to educate others in theatre/acting arts and shining light on the arts in smaller communities. During that time Nathan was signed by Images Agency, cast in several infomercials and even landed an extras role and eventually a Lead roles in Gospel Publishing House's children's series, "Faith Case," alongside some of his students. In 2013 Nathan ended his Homeschool Theatre program, left the Spicy Players in the hands of Trusted Friend and Acting/Directing Mentor Rhea Anne Mathews and made a bold choice to leave Missouri, but not before landing a role in his first feature film "Trehouse." Nathan resides in NYC, is working and creating on an acting web series "Inside The Actors' Hustle" and trains at Penny Templeton Studios.
