Neil Narbonne

Neil Narbonne

ACTOR

Neil Narbonne was born on 2nd April 1980 in Bordeaux. With a mother from Brittany and a father from Aquitaine, the actor also is heavily attached to the Basque region. Neil Narbonne has since always had a great relationship with the world of cinema. He keeps fond memories from his film "L'Ange Noir" directed by Jean Claude Brisseau, in which he featured at a very young age. That was his first encounter with Michael Piccoli, Tcheky Karyo and Sylvie Vartan. Very comfortable in front of the cameras, he realised that he really wanted to become an actor. That was the turning point for him. He begins to do very famous television series before a feature-length film where he played the 3rd lead role, "A Taxi for Two Killers". Meanwhile, his physique opens doors for him in the modeling world, which he abandons at the end of 2012 to focus solely in his role as an actor. In 2010 he meets Frederick Diot, young director from Bordeaux, who offers him the role as a television host in his short film "Fix Your Accent" After the success of the latter, he goes straight onto another short film "La Vida Average" which comes out in 2012, and receives the "Bordeaux Talent" prize at the XVIeme European Festival of Short Films 2013, chosen out of more than 500 proposed films. Around 2010, he is seen by another director, Pierre Etienne Larrous, who in turn offers him the lead role in his short film "L'un est l'autre". This was a success, equally because of the skill of the director as by the quality of Narbonne's acting. "L'un est l'autre" finds itself chosen for the Cannes Film Festival in 2012, a great recognition for these artists. Then intervenes another cinematic great, Thierry Obadia from the Pyrenees region. This director takes Neil Narbonne for a beautiful adventure round the world to film his feature film "Indigo,l'ame de la terre", an American coproduction with the BCDF Pictures Society and Spider World Cinema. Neil Narbonne, in the role of Antonio, is joined by Philippe Nahon, Albert Delpy, Michael Jonasz and Alexia Barlier. This film will finally be called "A.D.N. l'ame de la terre" (D.N.A.), and as a world first, is the only French film in the official selection of the Woodstock Film Festival 2013, in New York City. Comes out in France 13th August 2014 But Neil Narbonne isn't the type of man to rest on his laurels. Therefore alongside acting, he has invested himself in the music video "essence" from the group AleyNa, under the direction of David Scherer, special effect magician. This lead role required a special skill form the actor, the clip being extremely violent (banned for the under-18s). But surely a confirmed actor must be able to play several characters? Having finished filming for the director Mathieu Rameix, in his film "Les fils de la machine", Neil Narbonne is readying himself for 3 more feature length films.
