Nilla Elizabeth Watkins

An honors graduate and active member of Brown University's Department of Theatre Arts and Performance Studies (TAPS) Program, Nilla's professional acting career began upon graduation from New York's renowned Master Teacher Maggie Flanigan's Two-Year Meisner Conservatory Program. She has also apprenticed at the Williamstown Theatre Festival (where she worked one-on-one with Lewis Black in developing a stand-up comedy routine), studied theatrical improvisation (in French) at the Sorbonne in Paris, France, and trained extensively in Shakespeare. Notwithstanding Nilla's natural propensity for playing eccentric, zany, and left-of-center characters, her New England upbringing and formal training and education lend her easy access to the intelligent patrician with a strong vulnerability.
