Rachel is an Actress, VO Artist, Audio Producer, Radio Personality, Writer, and Audio Book Narrator born in Hibbing, MN. Rachel was raised in Chisholm, MN and in 2000 when she was 19 moved to New York City to study acting and voice. Her father was an old fashioned butcher at the local Piggly Wiggly and her mother worked as a Ward Clerk. Rachel moved to the Twin Cities market area in 2005, teaching children's theater. She would later move to NW Minnesota close in proximity to the Fargo, ND/South Dakota/Montana markets. She directed high school theater, competitive speech and adjudicated acting and speech festivals. In 2006 (to present) she began hosting a radio show with a NW Minnesota series of radio stations with R&J Broadcasting, Inc. Eventually, listeners would name her "Rachel On The Radio." Guest and Feature spots include Great Northern Radio Show/KAXE (Aaron Brown 2017, 2018), commentary on Making it Up North (PBS, Karen Sunderman, April 2018.) Rachel Brandt has narrated over a dozen audio books and as of Spring 2018 was in production with another set of titles by various authors, including The Sea & Sand Series by Deirdre Riordan Hall, following her narration of Deirdre's Love, Hate, & Other Lies We Told.
