Rafe Soule

Rafe Soule was born in Cape Town, South Africa. Born to an American mother and South African father, he spent his childhood living in between Cape Town and the north shore of Boston, Massachusetts. His mother is a journalist, and had once aspired to become an actress. She raised Rafe from early childhood, as his father worked as a mediator during peace negotiations in Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Lebanon (among others). Despite his absence he always supported Rafe's endeavors, and bought him his first guitar at the age of 11.
