Rakhi Roy

Born and raised in New York, Rakhi was exposed to the arts at a very young age. She attended theatre magnet schools throughout her primary school years and placed at district level competitions several times for her monologue work. Rakhi later moved to Florida with her family in 2002 for treatment of her autoimmune disorder and has resided there ever since. Rakhi still considers New York home, but Florida has a found a soft spot in her heart. Throughout her schooling, Rakhi has also trained vocally and performed at Disney in Orlando, FL, received a minor degree in theatre, and studied improv comedy. Rakhi is also a classically trained Indian and Bollywood dancer of 17+ years. She hopes to help others not only through her art, but also through wholesome food. Currently Rakhi is in Miami, pursuing her second passion in life and receiving her master's degree in nutrition and dietetics. Her long-term battle with her autoimmune disorder motivated her to heal others with food and good health. Her dream job when she's not working on her craft is to have her own travel cooking show and make wellness awareness available to everyone.
