Sean Yves Lessard

Sean was born in Syracuse, NY to an American mother and a French Canadian father. Anyway, He spent his younger years bouncing up and down the east coast to such ports of call as Quebec, QC, Baltimore, MD, and Charleston, SC. Was he running from the authorities? Well, that can only be seen as mere speculation. Sean trained as a gymnast for 12 years before an injury sidelined his Olympic aspirations. But when one dream is taken from you by falling out of a bus; yes he fell out of a parked bus, another dream picks up the pieces for you. That dream...theatre! The stage began calling to Sean. It scared him at first. Not the stage just the man calling to him from beneath it. After his first audition for a local theater's children's production of Twelfth Night, he was hooked. He then was admitted to Rollings School of the Performing Arts in Summerville, SC. There his dreams were realized. He was going to pas de bourree his way straight to the top. Little did he know that it would be a much longer journey than he anticipated. After graduating from SUNY Geneseo with a BA in Music, a degree built for making millions, he high-tailed it to Hollywood. He knew with every fiber of his being that someone was going to see him in a bank, pluck him out of obscurity and make him a bonafide star. Because, you know, it worked for Charlize Theron. Anyway, his poor heart was broken when he realized that things like that don't happen. It takes hard work to make your dreams come true. Little did he know. After 2 years in LA Sean knew he had to do something. He couldn't rest on his face. After a while your cheeks go numb. He decided that training, real training was what he needed. He asked some people around town for advice on where to go to become the best actor he could be. And after he was denied admission to the Los Angeles academy of Go-Go dancers or LAAGGD, he knew that Harvard was the way to go. So, after two years of incubation and preparation at the American Repertory Theatre Institute for Advanced Theatre training at Harvard University, he has rejoined the world. His eyes are open and his dreams are in sight. Hope he doesn't blink.
