ACTOR

Seta Wainiqolo is a Fijian born Stage and Film actor residing in New York City. After moving to Santa Rosa, California at the age of 16 to reunite with his mother he quickly began and completed his high school studies at Cardinal Newman High School, a private Catholic Boys School very similar to his former high school in Fiji, Marist Brothers High School. He was a member of his high school rugby and water polo team and competed with notable skill in both sports. After graduating in the spring of 2009, Seta was accepted into California Lutheran University on a partial but generous scholarship. After beginning his studies as a major in Multimedia and Film at CLU, Seta soon lost interest in his studies because of a lack of inspiration from both his educators and peers. After his sophomore year at CLU he transferred to the local community college in Moorpark to re-evaluate his goals and complete his CORE 21 requirements at a more cost effective institution. At Moorpark College Seta pursued his real underlying dream of acting in the Theater and along with his CORE classes took up theater classes and acting for the college's various stage productions. Most notable of these productions was his role as Falstaff in William Shakespeare's "King Henry IV: Part 1 and 2" as well as Van Helsing in the play "Bram Stokers Dracula". He was also consistently cast in a variety of roles for the college's smaller one-act productions which were written and directed by students. After completing his necessary CORE classes at Moorpark College he later returned to CLU to finally complete his major in Theater:Performance Emphasis. At CLU he continued his work on stage by getting a prominent role in a rarely performed period piece from the Restoration Era called "Sir Patient Fancy" written by the first female playwright of the day, Aphra Ben. He also earned a supporting role in the play "Stop Kiss" by Diana Son and a remake of the television show "Metro General" which was shot at the Black Box Studio Set in California Lutheran's Theater Department of whom also produced the project. Seta completed his undergraduate studies in the Spring of 2015 and went on to pursue further studies at Yale School of Drama New Haven, Connecticut in the Fall of 2015. At the Yale School of Drama Seta was cast in a number of the schools productions including Three Sisters, Tis Pity She's a Whore, Our Lady of 121st Street and Death of Yahzgerd along with two Shakespeare productions, Much Ado About Nothing and Titus Andronicus in which he played the titular role. Seta was also cast in the Yale Rep show "An Enemy of the People" directed by James Bundy in which Seta played the role of Captain Horster.
