Shion Etienne is an American Actor born of Haitian and Dominican descent hailing from Westchester County, NY. No stranger to hardships he was born in Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY to a crack addicted mother and an absentee father. Looking at the man himself it is hard to believe that a person who has come from nothing can make himself into such a crafty artist and actor. In Shion's early years, he dealt with physical and emotional abuse as a child. He was bounced from several foster homes before he came to White Plains, NY. Where he received limitless love from then foster mother Gail Bush who raised him and introduced him to the arts. Using acting and music as a way to escape from a sometimes harsh reality. Shion seen acting as a way to let go and experience other lives that are different and sometimes similar to his own. Shion has been acting since the age of eight and has featured in several Independent plays such as, Fences, Romeo and Juliet, Antigone, Oedipus Rex, and A Soldiers Story. His big break came when he co-starred in the play "A Gift of Sunshine" as love interest " Dr. Andre Masako " based on the book written by Hope Hollinsworth Coaxum. Shion's film credits include "A piece of me " by Jermaine Smith , Where he played "Gee". Tv credits include Co-staring in The Jermaine Smith created Urban Crime Drama "Vish Merrick" where he played the heartless and calculating gangster "Norv Barnett " which can be seen on Amazon Prime.
