Ethereally beautiful child actress best known for her title role performance in 'Miriam', one of three films in Trilogy (1969) by Truman Capote. Born into a theatrical family, she made her Broadway debut as 'Henrietta Ford Crimp, Jr' in 'The Ballad of the Sad Cafe', in which her father, veteran Broadway and film actor David Clarke also appeared. Her mother was actress and dialect coach Nora Dunfee. Susan Dunfee was featured in the original Broadway production of 'Wait Until Dark' with Lee Remick and Robert Duvall. She attended the Professional Children's School, Hunter College High School, and the University of Southern California, where she graduated with honors. She is married to Commander Craig Bennett of the United States Coast Guard. They have a daughter, Natalie, born on October 30, 1989, and a son, A.J., born on October 9, 1992. Susan Dunfee is now known as Susan Bennett.
