Susan Kirby

Susan Kirby grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended the University of Colorado, graduating with a BA degree in theater in 1971. She also attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, graduating with an AOS degree in 1973. She spent 35 years at The New York Times, the last 20 years as a copy and line editor in the editorial/Op-Ed/letters department. She also did page layout during her last 10 years at The Times. She returned to acting full time in 2009, and has since appeared in two AEA showcase productions, several singing concerts and more than 25 indie and student films. She is a member of AEA and AFTRA. She lives in New York City.
