Trish Johnson grew up in Los Angeles, California. She began studying acting and performing on stage at a very young age. She earned her SAG card by co-starring in the "ABC Afterschool Special: The Brad Silverman Story," which was nominated for an Emmy and winner of the Humanitas Award. The Brad Silverman Story was based on a true story and starring Shelley Berman and Marion Ross. Trish has also had the honor of working with the legendary Academy Award Winner Spike Lee in a national Nike commercial featuring NBA basketball player Tim Hardaway. Trish has trained in Oxford, England with the British American Drama Academy/Yale School of Drama. In Los Angeles, she has performed in many equity waiver plays, including lead roles in the NAACP nominated play "Passing" (by Nella Larsen), and "Thanksgiving Cries" (by the late film director Bruce Malmuth). Trish has been selected for the final callback for major supporting roles in many feature films including "The Mighty Quinn" (Denzel Washington), "Harlem Nights" (reading with Eddie Murphy), and "The Devil's Advocate" (reading for director Taylor Hackford). Trish has also lived in New York where she auditioned for film, TV, and theater, and studied acting with Wynn Handman. While in New York, she played the role of Hippolyta in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at the Sanford Meisner Theatre. Trish is the author of an original screenplay about murder and revenge in New Orleans. Trish is a graduate of UCLA and UCLA School of Law.
