Vivien Merchant

Vivien Merchant was an English actress, primarily known for dramatic roles on stage and on film. She was born in Manchester, Lancashire in 1929. Following a number of administrative reforms, her native Manchester has become the capital of its own metropolitan county, named Greater Manchester. Manchester. has become the 6th most populous city in the United Kingdom, following (in order) Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Sheffield, and Bradford. Greater London does not have city status.
