Wei-Ning Hsu

Tiffany Ann Hsu (Her birth name in Mandarin is Wei-Ning Hsu. But she loves people call her Ann, because that's how her beloved grandpa calls her.) She was born on 7th August 1984 in Taipei City,Taiwan. She is an Italian-Taiwanese model and actress. Not long after she begun to model in 16yrd, She took a role in Taiwanese drama" Jia You Fei Fei" as Fei Fei, the leading actress. And then she started to focus on her acting career. Hsu's father is an Italian-American and her mother is Taiwanese, but when she's 2yr old,her left her mother, leaving Hsu's mother to raise Hsu with the assistance of her grandfather, grandmother, and her mother's other family members. Hsu graduated from Taipei Hwa Kang Arts School and Chinese Cultural University with a major in Drama Acting. She was first noticed by Catwalk Agency when she participated in a talent casting for MTV Taiwan and was then signed up to be a model in 2003. In 2004, Hsu appeared in her first TV series Jia You Fei Fei and sang the theme song "Sweet and Hot sister". In 2005, she starred in the series "It Started With A Kiss" as second female lead. In 2007, Hsu appeared in her first movie Amour-Legende. In 2009, Hsu starred in the idol drama ToGetHer and Autumn's Concerto, and not until 2013, Hsu starred as the female lead again in the romance-drama series, Love Me or Leave Me (TV series), as a woman who was afraid of getting married but then regretted her decision when another woman tried to steal her boyfriend. And at the same year, she also earned her first leading role in movie "Design 7 Love" as "Doris", a manipulated female designer who found herself get into a complicated situation involved with seven people, and she must find a way out. And Hsu was nominated as the best new performer of Golden Horse Award.
