Yichun Chen

Yichun Chen is a Chinese actress. She was born in Luoyang, Henan Provence, China, one of the cradles of Chinese civilization, and one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China. She is the only child of Shufeng Chen and Liping Cao. She was raised in the neighborhood units of AVIC Optronics (where both her parents work) . Yichun is of Chinese, Korean and Mongolian descent. Her grandfather, Shiyao Chen, is a former minister of organization at Henan Provence. Her auntie, Shumin Chen, is the only artist to have won the prestigious Plum Blossom Prize both in Opera and Drama. The Plum Blossom Prize is the highest theatrical award in China.
