Russian actress, television director and producer Alla Grigoryevna Plotkina was born in the Sovien Union in 1963. Appearing in film and television productions from 1983, Alla Plotkina graduated in 1987 from the directing department of GITIS (from 1991 known as the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts) in Moscow. Since 1992, she has been working as a director on television. In 2007 Plotkina also included the title Creative Producer on her CV.
