Christina Villa

After completing her undergraduate degree, at The University of Texas at Austin, Christina worked in regional theatre productions at the El Paso Community College, and the Adobe Horseshoe Theatre. She also appeared in local commercials and worked on indie and student films - all experiences that lead her to New York City, where she earned an MFA at the Actors Studio Drama school. She acknowledges that her El Paso upbringing was a blessing. As an artist her mission is to represent Latinas beyond stereotypes, and create space to tell stories that shift the current paradigm and shed light on important social justice issues.
