Ginger T. Rex

Ginger Rex, is an actress born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She began her acting career at the age of 19, by just "tagging along" with her brother to an audition. She wasn't supposed to be there but he encouraged her to just put down his agent's name and go for it. She booked the commercial, got a stern talking to, and was signed by her agent. Over the years she has transformed her career and proven herself to be a versatile actor. She is known for her role as the Secretary in the film "Dreamland"(2019) produced by Margot Robbie and Directed by Miles Joris-Peyrafritte, premiering in the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival. She was thrilled to work with the cast in From Dusk Till Dawn (2016). She has thrived in the nurturing New Mexico film environment; playing lead roles in the films " The Bakers Road Killings" (2008) and The Truth Within (2008), in addition to other independent and short films. Ginger holds a BA in Broadcast Journalism and studied theater at the University of New Mexico. She was proud to host two seasons of the weekly Television Show, "Southwest Hot Chefs and Restaurants". Ginger was later told she was cast as host because it was clear she had no idea about any or all things culinary and she could warmly and authentically ask the questions people at home would like answered by award winning chefs. Ginger is known for many commercials. She continues to train and develop her talent with ongoing master classes taught by award winning casting directors and she thrives in her weekly improv group. She works with local film makers, and numerous award winning short films. Her passion is working with independent film makers in the flourishing New Mexico film industry.
