Nythia Sanchez

Nythia Sanchez is an American actress and singer. She was born August 9, 1997 in Santa Ana, California and was raised in Garden Grove, California. She grew up living with both of her parents and three older brothers. She is of Mexican descent. Growing up, Nythia had a passion for performing. She played the violin in her school orchestras and participated in choir as well. Nythia began acting when she was 11 years old after she participated in a production in elementary school. After getting her parents' support, she began taking acting classes at several different studios in Los Angeles and North Hollywood. From the age of 12 to 15, while still attending public school, Nythia went out on auditions and did background work on TV shows including Major Crimes (2012) and Parenthood (2010). In her high school years, Nythia began taking singing lessons and performed at churches in the Los Angeles area. She also performed several times at the famous Whiskey-A-Go-Go. She wrote and recorded an original song called "All on Me." In 2014, Nythia played the role of Cece in the horror short, Confined. After Confined (2014) was released, sequels were being produced and Nythia participated in the short films as crew. At the age of 18, Nythia began attending Chapman University in Orange, California where she planned on majoring in Business Administration. During her first year, she applied to transfer from the business school to the film school to major in Screen Acting. After being denied, Nythia became even more determined, motivated, and passionate about her dreams. She began taking acting classes again in North Hollywood and she started to work a lot of background in short films, student films, and feature films. After many years of not auditioning, she booked her first audition for a short play, Dog-Gone (2016), which will be adapted into a short film.
